June Grey
Based in Maine, June Grey is an award winning artist who specializes in miniature painting. She studied at the Montserrat School of Visual Arts in the early 1970s before moving to Enfield, Maine, where she discovered a love for the state’s natural landscape. In 1990 she enrolled at the University of Maine at Orono and honed her skills while under the direction of James Linehan. The same year she began her studies in Maine, she was honored with a solo exhibition at Art Etcetera in Orono, ME and since then has continued to exhibit at galleries in both Maine and Boston.

It was in 2005 that Grey turned her attention to miniature painting. She promptly joined the Florida Miniature Art Society, and began entering national shows. Her work has been shown at the Miniature Juried Art Show at El Dorado Gallery in Colorado Springs, CO, and at the International Exhibition of Fine Art Miniatures for the Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers Society of Washington DC. She has also exhibited internationally with the World Federation of Miniaturists. As a member of the Miniature Painters, Sculptors, Painters and Gravers Society, she has received three awards.
