His impressive seascape, Cornish Coast, encompasses the subdued palette and formidable cliffs Richards encountered along the English shoreline, a unique landscape carved away over centuries by the oceanic winds and waves he loved to paint. While in England, Richards exhibited at the Royal Academy and with London galleries, delighted that his work was so well received by a foreign audience.
