One comes away from a Whorf exhibit experiencing a joy transferred from the painter. One comes away hearing the surge of the sea, feeling the crispness of a spring day, the sting on salt spray, the dampness of the fog, the heat of the summer sun, seeing a little more clearly the world before one’s eyes.
