Hibbard explore the Green Mountain state in search of inspiration, from the streams, forests and mountains of southern Vermont’s West River Valley to the secluded hamlets near the Canadian border. Bondville, Vermont shows the peaceful village and frozen Winhall River nestled beneath the impressive peak of Stratton Mountain. It is a scene Hibbard would have encountered often having wintered in Bondville for several years before moving a few miles southeast to Jamaica.
