"One of the great pleasures of representing living artists is introducing those special few, with great talent and honors, to a wider audience. The success of Cindy House’s first exhibition with us this past autumn attracted legions of clients who responded to her art, and it was satisfying to see how gallery-goers become so excited as they viewed the show. When my daughter, Carey, first showed me photographs, I thought they were special, but when I saw them in person, I was, as they say, blown away! Her mastery of the pastel medium has garnered her prizes from a host of organizations, both in artistic circles as well as wildlife organizations.
When I first stood in front of the humble scene in Moon and Mockingbird, I was transported to a view that I see from our house on the shores of Duxbury Bay (MA). She has captured the moon rising over the dunes, set against the backlit afterglow from the sunset, coming from the opposite direction. Seen usually in the fall, I am moved by the random beauty of nature and atmosphere. I prize my photograph of that very phenomenon." - Marcia L. Vose, Vice-President
