Forging a National Identity features a selection of over thirty 19th century paintings by prominent American artists. The exhibition highlights gems from the collection of Matthew and Helen Mickiewicz, including works by James Buttersworth, Jasper Cropsey, Worthington Whittredge, Alfred T. Bricher, Robert S. Dunning, Edward C. Leavitt, Xanthus and Russell Smith, and Aaron D. Shattuck. A color catalogue is available for $10 p.p.
